Less detailed pixels to render (DoF on) means more fps. In most games I actually notice a difference but I don't turn it off for anything related to performance. It's solely so 100% of the screen remains clear, detailed and not distorted. That isn't how Depth of Field works AT ALL.

Playing on PC. I love photo modes so it’s one of the first things I check out. The photo says it’s saved to documents/horizon zero dawn/screenshots. The folder is there but it’s empty. I’ve searched and searched on this but nobody else seems to be having this problem.

Horizon Zero Dawn is installed on a shared Hard Disk Drive (named X:). When I played on my laptop or my workstation PC (both have Intel CPUs and Nvidia GPUs), it works fine. However, when playing on this Athlon build, it refuses to load.

One of the possible solutions to fix random crashes is to turn on GPU scheduling on Windows 10. Go to Windows Settings > System > Display > Graphics settings. Then switch the “ Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling ” option to “On”. Restart your PC to apply the changes.
